Check previous loans

Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the default borrower category. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected borrower category. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.

To specify whether to check a borrower's loan history when you try to place a reservation:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Borrower Categories.
Select the category you want from the list.
On the Details tab, set Check previous loans.
- All means that we'll check the loan history for all borrowers in this category.
- No means that we won't check the loan history for borrowers in this category.
- Yes means that we'll only check the loan history for borrowers with Check loan history selected in their registration details.
Click Save or Save & Close.
