Enforce case sensitivity in borrower registration

Spydus now has the ability to enforce case sensitivity in borrower registration forms in both Circulation and at the OPAC. Options for Case enforcement are:

• None - no case enforcement will be applied
• Capitalise - also known as title case, selecting Capitalise will use upper case for the first letter of each word in the field
• Uppercase - All letters in the field will be uppercase
• Lowercase - All letters in the field will be lowercase

Enforce case sensitivity in borrower registration - Circulation

To configure case sensitivity for select fields in Circulation borrower registration, use Maintenance > Circulation > Borrower Registration Parameters.

Enforce case sensitivity in borrower registration - WPAC

To configure case sensitivity for select fields in OPAC borrower registration, use Maintenance > OPAC & Enquiry > Register Online Parameters. To ensure consistency, the same case sensitivity should be applied to the same fields in the Update Details Parameters interface.

 Ability to use facets when profile matching for home library services rounds

When using the Match feature for Home Services borrowers, the search results in the pop-up window may now be refined using Bibliographic search facets.

In Circulation Offline status bar we should show whether slips are enabled or disabled

The status bar of the Circulation Offline app will now show whether slip printing is turned On or Off.

Display Syndetics images in issues and returns grids

If Syndetics provides a cover image for a title, it can now be displayed in the Returns and Issues grids in the Circulation module.

To enable or disable the display of Syndetics images in these grids, click the vertical ellipsis on any column header, click Columns, and check or un-check the Cover option.

Archive loan history after set period of time

It is now possible to configure Spydus to suppress display of loans after a specified period of time from the loan completed date.

Add 'Days until suppression of loan history' setting to general circulation parameters

To enable the suppression of old loans, a new parameter has been added to Maintenance > Circulation > General Parameters, in the Loans section. If the parameter is null, loan history will not be archived.

Modify display parameters to hide loan history older than suppression days

Once the period specified in the Days until suppression of loan history parameter has passed, those loans will no longer be displayed in the borrower's loan history at the OPAC, in the borrower transaction display in the Circulation module, and at the Borrower record Full Display in Enquiry.

Modify loan history validation to exclude loans older than 'Days until suppression of loan history' setting

Where loan history is checked for validation, if the Days until suppression of loan history parameter is set, then loans older than suppression period will not be included in that validation. This includes checks performed for features such as Check loan history when attempting to issue loans, and Check previous loans when placing reservations.

View charge dispute supporting documentation in WBA

If a borrower has uploaded supporting documentation for a charge waive request at the OPAC, those documents will be able to be downloaded from the Full Display of the Waive Request record, and from the Waive Request Approval widget.
