Processing charge for lost/damaged items set in collection

Select the checkbox to the left of a parameter to inherit the setting from the parent collection. Clear this checkbox if you want to change the setting for the selected collection. You can also click Inherit All and Inherit None to inherit or disinherit the settings for all parameters.

To specify the processing charge to be applied to borrowers for lost or damaged items:

From the Module Menu select Maintenance, Circulation and then Collections.
Select the collection you want from the list.
On the General tab, specify the Processing charge.
Press Tab or click anywhere on the screen to enable the Save options.
Click Save or Save & Close.

Be sure to include the lost item processing code on the Charges tab in the borrower category.

The processing charge in the collection is used if there is no processing charge specified in the borrower category.
